Shi Shi

Yes it happened again we had another birthday in our family. My little Shi Shi turned 3. No, I can't believe it either. I wish I had a magic wand so I could freeze time.  In honor of my girl's third birthday here is a list of 3 wonderful things about her, countdown style.
#3 Cleanliness. Shilo loves to clean. Clorox wipes make her happy and she loves to fold laundry. Need I say more?

#2 Spice. Shi has some spice to her. She's has a little stubbornness in her which sometimes can be daunting but I'm also grateful for it. This kid was born with an opinion and she is not afraid to express it. I hope she always keeps her sense of self.

#1 Nurturer. This may seem opposite than number two but while she can be a firecracker she is also very nurturing. She loves to play with her baby dolls and she is a good little mama. Her dolls are never thrown around they're always put away in their beds covered with blankets. If she needs to do something that requires her to use two hands then she makes sure someone holds her baby. She has a sweet heart. I love when she wakes up in the morning and comes directly to me only wanting to cuddle. She's good to her big sister and while they might not admit it, they're best friends.

So Shi is three. I can't freeze time, I can't go back in time, all I can do is enjoy time.

 Birthday morning.

 Seatbelted in with her baby.

All Shilo asked for for her birthday was a trampoline. Since it's cold outside we thought this would be perfect for her. I make her jump on it every night before bed so she'll be tired!

This is a tiny snake Shilo found in our yard. All of the boys in our neighborhood were afraid to pick it up so Shilo just reached down and grabbed it. Her nickname is "Bug" because she loves bugs maybe now we'll have to call her "Snake whisperer."
 Asleep in her tutu.

I love my Shi!

Halloween

For the first time in almost 9 years of marriage Bry and I decided to dress up for Halloween. Shilo had a desire to be the "Cat in the Hat" and you can't have the "Cat" without "Thing 1 and Thing 2". I tried to convince Macy to be a fish in a fish bowl to complete our Dr. Seuss theme but she was set on being a cowgirl so we decided she was a cowgirl named Sally.

Yes, I made Shilo's costume. You gotta love  home-made costumes!
We had a Halloween party with my fam.

Katie and Rob dressed up as a couple from the 50's.

 Super Annie

Mom and Dad as cute bumblebees.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to manifest God's glory within us. It's not just in some of us: it's in everyone."
