My Home Town
Last May Bryan and I sold our cute starter home. We have wanted to move closer to family and the time was right to sell. Even in an unstable real estate market we were able to sell our house. Yet for some reason it wasn't time to move south and we stayed in American Fork. We rented a home that was in our same neighborhood and it turned out to be a wonderful blessing. In the past 8 months that we lived in the rental we were able to make friendships stronger and even find new friends. I personally benefitted from it and am grateful for the time but now it is time to move on. We are currently renting a townhome in Springville and I love being home. I love being 5 minutes away from my parents, 1 minute away from my grandma, and 43 seconds away from Bryan's work! I love the small-town atmosphere. I don't know if we'll stay here forever but for the time being this is a great fit for our family. I am grateful for a strong husband who has given me a chance to live in my hometown and who makes me happy every day. I am grateful for the good friends I have in AF (I'm still holding out hope that some will join us down here, I'm just sayin'). I'm grateful for the friends I have in Springville, and anywhere else you may be. I am grateful for my good family. I have some of the best people in my life and my heart is full.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to manifest God's glory within us. It's not just in some of us: it's in everyone."
