Shilo has a funny face in this picture but it illustrates her new talent, standing.

Macy has turned into a little baker. She loves to bake bread, cookies, muffins, etc. She also loves to dress-up hence the picture. Mixing muffins while wearing a swimming suit! I love 3-year olds!

St. Patrick's Day. I've always loved St. Patrick's Day. Maybe it's my Diamond Irish blood or I just have really good memories of when I was younger. I could never seem to remember to wear green to bed the night before St. Patty's so in the morning my dad always got to pinch me. After school my mom would have green cookies waiting for us and if we were lucky grandma Anderson would have us over for dinner that night to eat her delicious corn beef and cabbage. The good 'ole days.

Stella turned 2 this month. She was a gift to me from Bryan and Macy on Mother's day a few years ago. She is a crazy dog but has a huge heart. If you've ever read Marley and Me or seen the movie just replace the word Marley with Stella and that describes her perfectly.

Friendship

No matter where I've lived or what phase of life I've been in I've always had good people around me. I have so much gratitude for my friends. I find it comforting to know that I have people in my life that are willing to see beyond themselves. People who genuinely care about me and my circumstances. People who stop by, email or call just to check on me and my family. People who I can laugh with and be myself around. It's a real gift to be a true friend. It takes selflessness, charity, and kindness. Thank you to all my friends wherever you are. Your friendship does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

It's almost impossible to take a perfect picture of my family. I'm not sure what Bryan and GG are looking at but it must have been exciting.

Welcome home Curt! My brother came home from his mission on Friday much to the great anticipation of his family. I am so proud of him and his ability to serve a faithful mission. I know that he was a good missionary because the past few days he has been like a fish out of water, not knowing what to do. I want to personally thank the people of Iowa for taking care of my little bro for the past 2 years!
