A pictorial account of our summer!
Children's parade
Yes that was at the carnival and yes we survived but I was worried!
Cheer camp! Go SHS!
Macy graduated from preschool! (She chose her own pose in this picture, very dramatic!)
Ms. Suzan and her top student!
Grandma's week!
Macy's dance recital. Again, she chose her own pose.
After a long winter and spring we tried to do everything outside, including Chutes and Ladders.
Fishing at Payson Lakes.
7-Peaks
Cousins!
We met the two newest members of the clan. Two beautiful little girls.
Shi Shi started dance. She is the littlest and cutest in her class. Another tree pose!
Swimming lessons.
Yep, she jumped!
We grew a massive garden that looks like a field of weeds but there really are crops in it!
Watched a parade.
Bryan and I drove to Ely, NV (it was a long drive). On our way we stopped at a salt flat.
Mountain climbers!
A summer isn't complete without trips to the park.
And here we are, kindergarten eve, gulp!
There have been so many things to be grateful for over the past five years and I know we will have much to be grateful for in the future. Tonight the thing I am most grateful for is time. Macy and I have spent almost every day of her life together. We’ve put many miles on our stroller and gone to the park countless times. I have left many of my undone chores at home so we could go swimming or feed the ducks. We’ve built snowmen together, laid on the grass to look at the clouds, colored, and have read books every day.
Tomorrow Macy starts a whole new phase of life as the next many years of her life will be spent in school. I hope she changes lives, find those that need friends, and become a leader. I hope she finds people to spend time with that respect her and remind her often of her worth. I hope that I have done enough in these short five almost six years we’ve had together. Tomorrow I start a new phase of life as I have to start sharing my little girl with the world.
Saddle up people, tomorrow we start a new ride. Yeehaw!
